How to Keep from Fainting

We read in Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." The Lord does not deliver us for our sakes, but for His sake. He frees us so we can fulfill His purposes in and through our lives. One very significant aspect of God's wrath is to destroy that which has been oppressing His people. Many Christians battle with the spirit of fainting (KJV heaviness) others lalck joy, strength and health. God has an answer for all of these. God desires to give us comfort for mourning, garland for ashes, gladness for sorrow, the mantle of praise and thanksgiving instead of weariness and heaviness. The cure for fainting, "Draw close to the Lord and He will draw close to you." Then and only then can you be "Strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
